DOES PARADISE REALLY EXIST?

Some of us take the Bible literally. They believe that Paradise is a location we will go / enter when we die. This was the main interpretation given to the sentence in Luke 23:43 when Jesus said to a thief crucified next to him: "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in Paradise". I am not saying that Paradise, as interpreted by various religion traditions and dogmas, is wrong. Who am I to make such a big / definitive statement? What I am saying and sharing with you is my interpretation of what Paradise is and what it means based on my personal experience.  If I tell you: "I have experienced Paradise several times in my life" you will surely ask: "What do you mean with Paradise?" and, when I give you my answer you will ask: "Are you being honest?", "When did it happen?", "Was it when you transitioned from life to death?"' "How does it feel?" and, obviously: "How did you get there?" and, lastly...

IT IS TIME TO GET TO SLEEP BUT I AM AWAKE

It is time to get to sleep but I am awake. I am awake and I am feeling about a loss; a long lasting loss. I tried to avoid feeling it for a thousand years; with all my heart, with all my self-will, with all I had, and more. Tonight, I am feeling about a long lasting loss. This is the time to go to sleep, you know, but I am awake and I am letting go of a loss. It is painful to let go, it feels like a burn that keeps on burning until a sac of water is created to cool it down. Once it stops burning, you'll feel the emptiness for the loss not being present, you'll feel the emptiness created from the lack of the loss; you'll feel the emptiness instead of the loss and this will be as painful as feeling the loss.  This will be as painful as knowing that what you always had was the loss and not the presence; it was not real, the presence, because when you thought the presence was present, it was just an illusion of your mind; a denial of the truth. a desire of not wanting to feel ...

HOW TO MOVE DEEPER INTO FREEDOM?

A person last night commented saying that his home is where he can find total freedom. Is this true? Or some of us just delude themselves into believing that their home is the place where they are living they absolute freedom because there are no restrictions beyond the mental ones, such as worries, or fierce self-criticism for example, or forever ruminating on the past or all-consuming anxiety about the future.  I believe freedom is much more than that; a very good point is that we can be free everywhere when our mind is free; when we have reached the faith (or trust) that everything that happens to us in life has a meaning that is simply condensed in our spiritual development; and we live this life as an invaluable gift, and we draw from it, free and grateful, our very essence which is expressed with equal freedom in the vulnerability or our fragile human condition, even there when, in emotional suffering, we obsessively seek and dig deep to still feel immense gratitude for the i...

11 DAYS OF SILENCE

Dani Tringale Image: "Silence Within" A long time ago I went to Mexico, to visit a cousin who decided to open an Italian restaurant over there. He was in Puerto Escondido which looked like a getto on a beach where hippies and desperadoes met, searching for a solution that was only within, as it always is.  It was one of his many failure: the wrong side of things to which he focuses its attention gets always in his way; there are men made that way, they are constitutionally being unable to be honest with themselves. I tried to make him see his reality, but he did not like to hear the truth and he asked me to leave.   So I left, and I went to Acapulco. A long time ago, when in Acapulco, I did not speak with anyone for 11 days. When I was in silence, after 3 or 4 days, the voice in my head stopped too and then, after experiencing silence for the first time, I became aware silence was not so silent because you can hear it; it has a particular sound, the sound of silenc...

A LIE CALLED COMPROMISE

Qui Pro Quo. We believe that being loving to someone means compromising. We believe that to show love we have to give away ourselves. If you want to stop loving someone start compromising and soon your love will disappear, dissolve, vanish into a massive resentment.  True love is not an action against your own desires and needs. True love is being true to yourself. True love is a feeling. True love exists or doesn't. It cannot be created. It cannot be taken from you. It cannot be demanded.   Be strong. You are not egoistic. Be strong. You have your life. It is yours. It belongs to you. God has given it to you. It is His gift to you. You do not have to give it to anyone else. It is yours. Use it as you please.  Those who love you will love your honestly, your integrity and from those qualities they will know you love them because you never lie to them, you never compromise to keep the peace, to save someone or rescue them. You were born free. Freedom is all you have. ...

A FEW WORDS AND SOME HOPE (I HOPE) ABOUT WHAT WE HARDLY MENTION...

I have heard about two persons (one of them I did not know personally, he was the brother of a good friend) that committed suicide in the last couple of months.  James and Brian. They both hung themselves. One in a closet, the other on tree in his garden. I think they had at least one thing in common: they had lost hope. Hope that their emotional pain would stop. Hope in the beauty of life. Hope that someone would understand their pain. Hope for a change. Hope for serenity.  I have been there too, long ago. When you are in dilemma, when the pain to stay or the pain to go are both unbearable and you think the only way out is to die, you are wrong, there is a solution.  That place is a terrible place to be because when you feel that way, you have a compulsion to act. It is stronger than you. If you act it is just a moment and then you'll change your mind. A moment you will regret if you go ahead with it and you'll survive. Sometimes the physical consequences will be with yo...

WE ARE JUST VEHICLES

We all wonder what is the purpose of our life; some of us cannot find an answer, people who can only see life as a series of events disconnected from one another, where there is no meaning and there is no way to find the crux of the matter; they stop searching, nothing wrong with it, it is just another way of being. Some others do not bother to know what the purpose of their life is, and if that is it. Again, nothing wrong with it, it is just another way of being. There are others who look for answers. Maybe those who have suffered a lot or are just more sensible, or curious or both. They must have a reason and they need to find a reason. Maybe it is just in their nature to want to know (a little bit like Adam and Eve - some characters of the Bible - that were looking to get to know the secrets of creation). Of those people some find an answer and they settle with it, others find more than one. I am one of those who has been looking for for an answer (quite a lot) and I have found...

WHY DO WE FIGHT AGAINST ACCEPTANCE OF WHAT WE DO NOT LIKE?

We are lead to believe that we cannot accept what we do not like. It is true that we do not need to like what we cannot accept. We just accept it, as part of life, as part of our reality, as part of how things are developing in front of us. We ask ourselves why this keep happening to me. Why am I still attracting the same situation over and over again. Where am I blocked. What is that I am trying to avoid?  We objectively look at reality and we decide if we like or not but we do not became bitter for not to accept it. We do not constantly try to change what is impossible to change. The only thing we can change is ourselves. Our actions. Our believes. We became honest and follow our path, regardless of what others think. We are true to ourselves. We are free.  Trying to change the world a people, places and things is just a big waste of our energy. And energy is all we've got. It is limited. It is sacred. We have to decide how to spend our energy. We spend our energy in t...

MOTIVATIONS, SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND SELF-DEFEATING BEHAVIOURS - A FEW WORDS

We all act, or refrain to act.  Either way we made a decision to move towards something we believe can benefit us, or move away from something we believe will harm us or not benefit us.  Some of us act with self-destructing, self-defeating behaviours. Those of us, sadly, sometimes are aware of their behaviour but unable to change. It is something driving us from inside, like an unstoppable destructive force.  We look at it deploying in front of us, unable to change, like spectators and actors of a tragic movie, we are repeating it over and over again. This causes great pain and in the long term causes a sense of hopelessness that will stop us even from trying to achieve something we desire in the attempt to fulfil our potential. Sometimes it can also cause self-hate, or at least, self-dislike. A sense of not being good enough that is at the origin itself of the self-defeating behaviour. We start believing we are unable to change the course of our life, that we are d...

HUMILITY

Humility comes from the knowledge that whatever we are is given to us, our duty is to see who we are, accept with gratitude the gifts we have been given and accept with the same gratitude the gifts we have not been given. To respect our gifts we have to fulfil our potential and this is a 'duty' we have towards ourselves. To fulfil our potential we need tons of humility. Humility to face our fears, and move forward. Humility to accept that the way we see things sometimes is a drawback and it is a way to avoid responsibility, to feel vulnerable, to accept that if we are not able to achieve what we like, we have to try again because we will never find out who we are and which our talents are if we do not try again and again. Humility to accept a 'failure' and try again because the only failure is taking the decision to stop trying.

IS THE IDEA OF GOD INTRINSIC IN EVERY HUMAN BEING?

The idea of God is intrinsic on every human being. For someone who doubts this affirmation, just imagine to be the only human being in this planet.  In this imaginary world you find yourself alive, adult, you are able to find food and shelter. You grow. You look at nature, at the animals, at the sea, at the stars; you have also ideas and intuitions helping you, for example on how to protect yourself from dangers; you feel alone and look to connect with the world around you, you need to give a sense on your presence in the world, you ask yourself how you got there, how everything around you has a material presence; at night, when you fall asleep and have dreams, your dreams seems very similar to your reality or very different; you start questioning your perception and asking yourself if the reality you are seeing when you are awake (are you really awake or being awake is just another level of consciousness of which you are unaware: are you are living a lucid dream?), is this reality...

WE LIVE, WE CHOOSE, WE ARE, HUMAN

If we are spiritually connected we are naturally part of humanity and we contribute to life, we acknowledge others, we validate them. Sometimes it is enough to exchange a glance with someone, or a smile, or even express connection with just a movement at an energetic level. Nothing more. Nothing to do. It will just happen, like life.   Sometimes it is enough to listen, or to be present. Just present in the Present. Moment. Like life. Like love. Like a story to be told. We live, we choose, we are, human. We choose freedom from the burden of self. We choose humbleness. We choose to leave, or to stay, or just to be, without a choice to be made; just waiting, in a stillness full of movement, since the next thing to happen is already showing us the way. And so we are, human, beings, breathing. A beautiful dance, joy, God, or nothingness. We are the air and the transparency of the light. We are nature, stillness and strength, and we are the stars, too. We are awaken and aware. ...

WHICH IS THE ROOT OF PERFECTIONISM?

Many of us takes pride to be perfectionists. We strive to be perfect and when we do not achieve perfection, we just try harder, and harder and harder... Perfection can never be achieved from an emotional human being, it is a mirage, it is an illusion like a water lake in the desert. A perfectionist will find it very difficult to achieve what h/she believes is perfection since he will be never happy with his/her perfection and he will be constantly seeking for a better 'perfect perfection' which is a contradiction in terms.  When we strive to be perfect we are trying to cover up our humanity, our imperfections, our flaws of character, we are trying to control our reality and the perception of ourselves to ourselves and others.  We are dishonest.  We are giving out a false image, we are trying to get a better image of ourselves by mirroring ourselves in the image that others have of us and to do so we seek to be perfect, we do not admit any flaws and we present this 'shiny ...

WHICH IS THE PURPOSE OR OUR LIFE?

One of the question we always ask ourselves, especially in times when life hits hard on us, when we feel pain or discomfort or the loss of something we wished to happen or the fear of loosing something we have, is 'Why I am in this Planet'? 'Which is the reason I exist?' I am here to express myself, to express life, whatever it is. The higher expression of life is love. I am here to express love. But what is love? Love is passion. The reason I am here is to express love through my passions.  I can be passionate about tennis, a person, literature, having a clean house, be honest, expressing my true self, playing an instrument, laying on a beach in my bikini, eating food with my hands, writing a blog, a poem, helping someone, express the joy I have inside and the pain I have inside when I feel them. This is love. I am here to express love. I am love.  Whenever this ability is taken away from me, whenever the ability to be human is taken away from me, my humanity is taken ...

HOW SHAME, JUDGMENT AND FEELING JUDGED ARE CONNECTED

Most of us feel shame, or better said, most of us are able to get in contact with their shame. Some persons don't because the shame they have felt as children was so severe that they've disconnected from their real self and created a fake personality which allowed them to survive without feeling vulnerable again.  Those in this situation have a chance of living a 'real life' if they do a lot of work on themselves, ask for help and find the courage, even at small steps, to accept their humanity and by doing they allow themselves to be in contact with their vulnerability, lose control and accept their drawbacks, and, by being able to stay and feel all those feelings connected with feeling vulnerable as children including shame and guilt without running back to the fake personality which makes them feel safe and untouchable, they are reborn.  Shame, contrary to guilt, is a feeling which entails a negative judgment of oneself, people ridden with shame feel they are bad, wor...

HOW HONESTY, FAITH & COURAGE ARE CONNECTED

What does stop us to find the courage to be honest?  Fear What is fear?  Lack of faith, is the believe past experiences are in our presence, is it an defective interpretation Why do we lack faith?  Because we had some experiences where we could not see faith working in our life  Why we did not see faith working?  Because we were expecting a different outcome, we could not see that that outcome was the only possible one, because it had a reason, for us to see the truth, where we were standing So it did work?  Yes, faith works all the time, we just have to try Why some of us cannot see that faith work all the time?  They need to build the belief that everything they face is given to them to feel their emotions and release the emotions and be free  Once we are doing this work we will know that faith exist and we will see the astonishing beauty in our life

FREEDOM FROM FEAR

WHY AWARENESS IS ONLY A HALF STEP TOWARDS FREEDOM FROM FEAR We are so lucky in this era called the ‘Information Age’, we are able to share, access information as never before. To do so we have a powerful instrument in our hands: our mobile phone. For this reason we are more likely to grow faster by accessing informations and became aware. Awareness of ourselves, of our motives, is  a very powerful step towards rigorous honesty which is the base of self liberation and freedom from fear.  However, I have bad news for those who think that awareness is the only key, since using only the mind in doing this job will take us nowhere. Hoe many times I have heard people, this time I am going to face this fear and move forward. However when the times come most of us back up and act out of fear again and again.  To find freedom from fear, after becoming aware of the fear by being humble enough to accept that every fear is a projection of a feeling we want to avoid at all cost. We cr...

HUMILITY, SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND SUCCESS

What is humility? Humility is THE spiritual principle we need first to move forward into inner peace and happiness. Without humility we are deprived of the the ability to learn: we cannot learn anything on any subject if we not humble, this is a fact. Humility gives us the opportunity to look and accept the truth about ourselves. Sometimes when I speak to people and I ask them to be honest, some of them get offended because they assume I am saying they are dishonest and since they do not believe or cannot accept of being dishonest they get offended and sometimes stop communication. They have lost their humbleness out of fear. This lack of humbleness, is connected to the lack of accepting the truth about our nature as human beings. One of our biggest characteristics as human beings is that we live in fear (at some level we are all affected by it). This is true even if you've stopped taking decisions based on fear (as I did, but this does not mean I do not feel fear sometimes, I'...

YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH

A long time ago I made a decision, I've decided I did not want any regrets. Every single day I've spent on this planet I have done something that I wanted to do and that I enjoyed. I have grown spiritually and I have a crystal clear soul.  I have been a successful person when I have been truth to myself, when I have come to the realisation that my limitations are only an expression of past emotional traumas, when I know that all my reactions are based on fear, when I have been truth to my values and when I have loved myself unconditionally because every unloving behaviour towards other is just a reflection of the amount of love I have for myself. I am successful when I question my motives, and I do, all the time, for every action, and I am successful when I take responsibility for my actions. I do  this with the best of my ability and putting humbleness first. I am good enough. I know Faith took me to move forward when I did not have anything left behind, I had to search for G...

TO FIND THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS

Sometimes it is painful but it is inevitable, we need to do it, to find the truth about our feelings, we need to know the truth to grow.  When a behaviour is recurrent in your life there is an underlying reason, search for it and you will find it and you’ll find peace. Sometimes it takes time but if you are persistent you’ll find the truth. Just ask yourself: ‘Why am I feeling this feeling?’ Tell yourself that you’ll find the truth and tour mind will give tuo the answer.  Once you have the answer ask yourself it this the truth, question it, when it happens again look at it, be inquisitive.

NATURAL LAW, COMMON LAW AND WHY ARE THEY CONNECTED WITH SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES?

Natural Law is the higher form of Law, is the Law of God (even if you do not believe in God), and as such has philosophical connotations, but put it simple  it derives and it is based on the fact that every single human being has an intrinsic sense of justice, even a child.  So in the hierarchy we have: Natural Law The Rule of Law (Common Law and Equity Law - deal in the Equity Courts) The People The Parliament  Natural Law propagates to Common Law & Equity Law which is the basic Constitution (the Magna Carta) and Equity Law Democracy in the UK is an expression of Common Law which is based on the constitutional principle that Sovereignty is of the People, we stand on top of the Head of State from which the Legislative, the Judiciary and the Executives powers emanate.  Why Common law is the base of our democracy and why is it so important to be remembered and be applied? Under Common law the system of Trial by Jury allows 12 people and another person (who is now a...

GRATITUDE

I feel so grateful today, I’ve seen the world with the eyes of God, with the eyes of love and compassion and joy, with the eyes of empathy, with the eyes of wisdom; with the same eyes some others see the world so we can see the same and feel the same: the sense of the days becoming smaller and the little things becoming bigger, like the eyes of my brother today when he looked at me and we said goodbye, he looked like the little boy I played with, running to collect seashells, endlessly during the summers of our youth, with fake tattoos (recurrent gifts of our mother’s best friend) stamped in our harms and flat chests, fading tattoos with animals, sun rays, dolls, cars and all the rest: the monolithic hope in our hearts and the stupid children’s innocent certainty that things could only get better. I feel so grateful today. Dani Tringale - "Silver, Like Me"

WHY FEELING OUR FEELINGS IS FUNDAMENTAL TO BE ABLE TO TAKE DECISIONS?

I've met a lot of people who are having difficulties to make decisions. There are many reasons for this, one of those is that we have missed or felt we missed security and protection when we were young.  Generally those deep feelings of insecurity are based on fear, and fear is one of the worse enemy of being in contact with our feelings. When we are fearful our mind is preoccupied with survival and we are generally in a alert state. In this state we are unable to get in touch we other feelings apart from fear. If we are not in touch with our feelings we are unable to feel if we like something or not, get in touch with our instinct which tells us what is right or wrong for us in that moment. This is why it is very important to recognise first that we are in a state of fear, this can be scary because it can increase a perception of insecurity, but we have to understand that the insecurity was always there, it was us that were 'absent' from feeling it. Once we have accepted w...

TODAY I HAVE EXPERIENCED JOY

Today I experienced joy, it was in the way the trees moved in the wind, they were being caressed and caressing the air, their branches were touching a part within me and moving it, it was like I was breathing through them and for them and with them. Today I have experienced joy, it was in the glance I had with another human being while waiting for the cross light to be green for the pedestrians, like me. We smiled to one another and we knew we were on the same level, we were the same, two of the many souls looking for meaning and finding it within and outside at the same time. Today I’ve experience joy, when I went back home and the lights were dimmed and the moon was over me, big and majestic and a little bit dumb looking outside my window into our fragile world above the figs tree I planted with my love; apart from the fig trees my love and I also planted acceptance and empathy and courage to stay and connect even if one day one of us will deadly miss the other - we did this not alwa...

THERE IS NO NEED TO BELIEVE IN GOD TO BE SPIRITUAL AND HAPPY

I’ve heard some people arguing that spirituality is a by-product of religion. The application of spiritual principles is a decision that everyone can take regardless if they believe in the existence of God or not because the sense of justice that we all have is nothing else that a reflection of us being spiritual beings.  To apply spiritual principles is a decision we take because we know our of consciousness will improve to reach high level of well being simple by, at the beginning, stepping out of fear and take a step into actions that they have never taken before. To take any action out of fear we have to have faith that if we took any action by applying a spiritual principle, the outcome will be always for the good, including first our sense of integrity, connection and purpose which equal to happiness.

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

When we apply spiritual principles in our life on a constant basis and our soul is clear from fear, anger and resentments because we finally allow ourselves to feel the feelings sitting under dullness or anger (dullness generally sits on top of anger) which are fear and  grief, in this order, we will find connection and emotional freedom. Some people says they cannot feel their anger. This is simply because they judge themselves for feeling angry or the are feeling shameful of feeling anger. In this case they will have to find the 'top emotion' being judgment or shame for example sitting on top of the anger.  [think of yourself of just 'being', you are just a a vehicle for your feelings to be expressed internally, to come and go like a wave, like the wind, like rain -  they come to you, you feel them and so on and so forward - you let them flow without trying to control them, without interference from your mind, without judging them as good as bad, you feel the pain of ...

CONNECTED

There is a transparent line, like an umbilical cord that goes from me, my being, my soul towards the world outside and it feels, and perceives it, and we become one. I am connected. I am present now, to this time and space, into this time, into this space. I am time, I am space. I feel it, is it still, like the water of a lake, still, like the full moon in the sky, sometimes, like the air after the snow; in this stillness, and under the surface of everything there is the beauty of life, the emotions, nature, persons and places and my story, who I was and who I am now and who I have been in between, including all the uphill roads and the sprints downhill and the cold air in my face. It all makes all sense now because I am exactly where I want to be and where I allow myself to be and it has always been this way. Dani Tringale Image - "God is in the Air"

AWARENESS

It is said that regular meditation gives us the opportunity to became aware of our thinking. This is always a good starting point. Without awareness of our thinking we cannot really dig deeper and get to know who we really are.   Once awareness of our thinking has became an habit, a thing we really need to develop, something that needs to became our second skin since our spiritual development depends on it, is analysing our actions, or to be more precise, the underlying reasons [or motives] of our actions. An action can be passive or active, so for 'taking an action' I intend everything, including not taking an action, refraining from saying something, even thinking about something is taking an action (since our thinking reflects in our reality).  Everything we do (or omit to do) is an action. Every action has an effect on our reality, on ourselves and others. Which are the effects of our actions? TO OURSELVES: Our actions can do only two things: A. move us towards actin...

A LIFE OF AVOIDANCE IS JUST A SURVIVAL MECHANISM

We all postpone, postponing is is a way of avoiding something. We avoid things we do not like and we do things we like, we avoid pain and search pleasure.  To understand which pain we are avoiding we have, as usual, to analyse our motives: Which pain are we trying to avoid?  Obviously if we are avoiding going to the gym, for example, we might be avoiding the physical pain of exercising.  But sometimes in analysing our motives, we have to look at the underling feelings of "what do do not like" since sometimes it is not the activity itself we are postponing / avoiding but it is the feelings it creates. We are postponing feelings, certain feelings, those which cause pain. For example, if we are postponing to write a post on our blog (nothing personal here...LOL) it could be that we are avoid some fears, for example fears of feeling rejected or inadequate or not being loved or liked.  We may find ourselves trying to avoid facing an addiction not to feel some feelings too...

IMMORTALITY AND A STARFISH

If you believe in God and in the writings in the Bible, it is written that before Adam and Eve, we were immortal (may be the Bible was speaking of the soul). If you do not believe in God, you may want to believe that there is a part of us, which is common to all Human Beings, our soul, which is said to be Immortal. It is a nice thought to have, even if you doubt about it, so hold to it :) The Christian tradition says that we were immortal because we were pure, the Jewish tradition says that we were immortal because evil was kept separated from us.  In any case, the Bible says it was Adam and Eve fault if we became mortal ;) so if there is someone to blame is them ;) - there is always a guilty one in the Christian tradition! :(( -  Their disobedience to God was the cause of us becoming mortal. Citing the Bible in the Genesis 6:3 (CSB): "And the Lord said: 'My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years'." So if th...

ADMITTING YOU’RE BLESSED

The world we perceive is a reflection of what we feel about ourselves. You’ve heard me right, I did say a reflection of what we feel we are, I did not say a reflection of who we are.  When we feel insecure or we feel we are not good enough, we see a world that is defective, decadent, not good enough. So in the attempt to have a reality we like we try constantly to change the world, our house is not good enough, our friends are not good enough, our partner is not good enough, our job is not good enough. After thousands of attempts, anger, resentments, delusion, tears, sometimes suicide attempts, some of us come to the conclusion we cannot change anything apart from our inner world. For some people is difficult to accept that an inner transformation is all they need to change the world and their life is exactly where it can be, there is no other space, it will change as much as we allow ourselves to feel. Once this acceptance is done we are blessed! We can start a change that is real...

WILL POWER

Self will, we praise it. We encourage it. We recognise it as a quality. We seek it and, if we do not have it, we feel ‘less than’… Self will, the devil of human nature, the joy depriver, the egoism who takes what does not belong, the ‘one’ to whom everything has to be given: other people feelings and our humanity, and theirs.  Self will, the liar, telling us that we can do it on our own force, without help, because we are strong, because we are…God There is not strength in self will, but only a stubbornness that will dissolve, like sugar in the water, like love into hate, like big into small, one step at the time, toward the abyss and into nothingness. To resuscitate into humbleness. And after that, when of us, of our ‘self’ nothing will remain, we will blossom from the humbleness of the grandiosity of the grace of God and we will be reborn, as human beings for the first time.

FEEL YOUR FEELINGS TO UNDERSTAND YOUR NEEDS

Which is the connection between feelings and needs? Why it is so important to allow ourselves to feel our true feelings? It is anger a true feeling or just a cover up feeling? We've have learned that expressing anger is 'bad', it is 'rude', it is inappropriate. Lots of us have learned to repress their anger, to let it go inside of us, becoming a series of self-defeating behaviours and self-hate (a much more subtle way of expressing our anger). To feel and recognise our anger helps us to understand our feelings and our needs. Having learned not to express our anger, we are unable to make any decision at all, because the inability to feel our anger removes from us the ability to feel and understand our needs. We are 'needless', empty shells, basically we are only 'anger' but we cannot see it, having built a 'facade' that is very similar to 'being human' but disconnected to our true feelings. Therefore every time we feel anger, we have t...

IS LETTING GO A GOOD TECHNIQUE TO HAVE A CLEAR SOUL?

It is in our common language to use the saying: “Let it go”. With love, we generally suggest this technique to family members and to friends who had a bad experience, or are feeling resentment, or are holding a grunge to someone, towards something, or towards a place. This is a marvellous technique and we all use it, but sometimes we misinterpret what letting go means and, instead of actually “letting go” we keep everything in.  Thus, we believe we are doing a great job to “let it go” but  in reality we are compounding those feelings.  They get pressed down, inside of us in such a way that we even became unaware of their existence in us.  They became like a rock we carry around, like a ball and chain we drag, day in day out.  By doing so, little by little, we are darkening our soul and we became unable to feel and express innocent, instinctive joy, which is one of the juices of life. We are unable to experience bliss [we start surviving in life instead of living...

Mme BOVARY AND HER STRUGGLE WITH SELF-ACCEPTANCE

The clash between reality and idealisation and why humbleness works. We all know how painful it is sometimes to see what is real and abandoning any idealisation.   This painful process of growth into ‘adultness’ is part of our humble acceptance of the fragile condition intrinsic to being ‘human beings’ and, as such, fallible, mediocre and, in one word and overall, affected of the state of believing to be different from what we are, governed by unawareness and the ability of blaming others of the same defects and drawbacks we cannot (which means ‘we do not want to’) recognise in ourselves.  Flaubert Madame Bovary’s is the example of the failed norm of human life, exposed in Emma (Bovary) in the failed idealisation of love as an absolute ideal and in the lack of acceptance of realty (including oneself and one’s vulnerable humanity). WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I STOP TO TRY TO CONTROL WHAT I CANNOT CONTROL

We, Human Beings love to feel we have control over our life, this comes from a state of pure fear connected with our physical vulnerability for example.  We have this massive illusion that we can control, with our actions and behaviours, the outside world and our life.  I do not believe in this simplistic way of looking at reality, it does not work.  Of course we can try to control the outside world, people, places and things and sometimes we succeed or we have the impression of succeeding, until something else happens that shows us our failure of this "mission impossible".  Generally our subconscious mind, past emotional rubbish gets in the way: as for the universal law that wants our soul to be clear we attract the very thing we are trying to avoid by trying to control. We are a magnet for all our fears, because our fears hide emotions we need to feel.  When I let go control and I allow myself to act instinctively I am free. My only obligation (if you want to ...

THE NEGATIVE POWER OF THE VERB 'SHOULD'

I studied Law since I have always loved the meaning of words, they are fundamental: the words we use are the building blocks of our life, are the measure of our success, are the pathways to reaching our full potential. Let's be aware, like eagles, watching every thought and every word we say (aloud or in our head or whispered). Only with this rigorous scrutiny we can analyse our behaviour, 'become awake' and change, moving towards joy and fulfilment and bliss.  Sometimes when we look back or we look at our behaviours or others' , we tend to use the word 'should': 'I should have never...', 'I should have said...' 'He should have known...' etc, etc... I have banned the use of the word ‘should’ from my vocabulary. When we say 'should' in respect of ourselves or others, we are regretting, we are not forgiving, we are judging, we are negating our reality.  There is no judgement in love. In love there is only acceptance of reality, this...

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE & OF 'BEING InLOVE'*

Experience all your emotions but do not live in your emotions - let them flow - you are a vehicle for your emotions. Love & Gratitude are the forces bringing us forward - express them - feel them strongly and you’ll fly high.  *For 'BEING InLove' I mean not being in fear. To be 'not in fear' we need to feel all our feelings, even those 'difficult emotions' we rather not feel (get the free eBook: 'Feel to be Free' here soon).

TODAY I HAVE EXPERIENCED JOY

Dani Tringale Image - "White Immensity" Today I have experienced joy, it was in the glance I had with another human being while waiting for the cross light to be green for the pedestrians, like me. We smiled to one another and we knew we were on the same level, we were the same, two of the many souls looking for meaning and finding it within and outside at the same time. Today I’ve experience joy, when I went back home and the lights were dimmed and the moon was over me, big and majestic and a little bit dumb looking outside my window into our fragile world above the figs tree I planted with my love; apart from the fig trees my love and I also planted acceptance and empathy and courage to stay and connect even if one day one of us will deadly miss the other - we did this not always in a linear way - like when you plant seeds - but as best as we could, because we both believe love always prevails.  Today I experienced joy to be alive and stand free as a woman in this planet wh...
